President's Address
Dear Prospective and Registered Members,

It is a pleasure to be elected President of the Kent Art Law Society as it celebrates its second anniversary as a collaborative, dynamic, and interdisciplinary society. Our academic society has benefitted from the backing of both the Kent Law School and School of Arts, as we are recognised for furthering artistic expression across campuses & centres, and contributions to extracurricular legal academic and social opportunities.

The Society's repute is only due to the members and committee who have contributed a wealth of their talents and time for the furtherance of the Society's activities and aims. Throughout the pandemic, we have been able to navigate our role in serving the interests of members in spite of unforeseeable difficulties. We now enjoy an established relationship with local businesses, individuals, and institutions across Kent who have supported our successful charitable fundraisers.

My personal mandate to the Society and its members is to provide activities that reflect the post-pandemic opportunities that may enrich studies. I believe that by increasing integration with other University of Kent campuses & centres and other universities in Canterbury, we may access the potential the University offers and encourages to both students and locals alike.

Sincerely,
Alan Evans
